    1. Introduction to Powerscourt Townhouse Center:

      • Travel back 200 years to Georgian Dublin and hear the story of the Wingfield family and explore the center which is a bastion for Irish craft and design
    2. Authentic Tasting Experience:
      • Visit some of Dublin’s most popular pubs and restaurants.
      • Sample traditional Irish dishes paired with craft beers.
      • Engage with local guides and get insights into Dublin’s culinary scene.

End Point: We will finish close to Powerscourt Town Center 

 

  1. Food Tasting: Sample traditional Irish dishes paired with local beers & ciders at various popular pubs and restaurants in Dublin.

  2. Local Guide: Engage with a knowledgeable local guide who will provide insights into Dublin’s culinary scene and history.Benefit from the expertise of a professional guide who will ensure a memorable experience.

  3. Visit to Powerscourt Townhouse Centre: Begin the tour at this historic townhouse, which serves as both the starting and ending point.

  4. Traditional Irish Fare: While the tour includes specific food and drink options we can accommodate most dietary requirements if you contact us at lest 24 hours in advance of the tour. Please note that the tour may not have a story telling focus on the these alternative options.

  • Minimum age for participation: 18 years.
  • Wheelchair accessible, please let us know in advance of the tour so we can make sure to book accessible venues.
  • Minimum drinking age: 18 years.
  • There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing! We run the tour in all types of weather (unless there is a severe weather warning) so please come prepared!
  • This tour runs on minimum numbers, it is very unusual that the tour does not go ahead for that reason but if so we will be in touch
    to make alternative arrangements or a full refund. 
  • Full refunds are available if canceled up to 24 hours in advance.
  • No refunds for cancellations within 24 hours of the tour’s start time.
  • Changes made less than 24 hours before the tour will not be accepted.

Grainne was our tour guide, really knows her stuff, and is able to communicate it most interestingly. She did keep us waiting a bit for the first food, but then OMG, it was so delicious!
