Living in Stradbally, Co. Laois, Ray is a farmer’s son and has a degree in Food Engineering. He’s worked all around the country in the dairy, fish smoking and fruit industries. Ray works part-time in food retail as well as tour guiding and is a qualified National Tour Guide. Into fitness and wellbeing, Ray also walks various sections of the Camino de Santiago every year. ”I enjoy meeting people and sharing some of the good things from our country (food, culture and chat) with visitors. I love to hear their stories too and what brought them to meet up with me on their tour. I also like poetry and may sprinkle some into a stroll through the city”.
